This Trinity Knot & Shamrock Pendant is a real show stopper. Featuring a small rose gold plated shamrock dangling beside a sterling silver Trinity Knot. The traditional Celtic knot is encrusted with clear Cubic Zirconia stones. This pendant is the perfect combination of Celtic symbols and heritage.

The Trinity knot is the most well know Celtic knot. In the Christian faith, the three points of the Trinity knot represent the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

The Trinity Knot meant many things to the Celts. This included the mind, body, spirit; earth, sea and sky and beginning, middle and end – continuity.

The name ‘shamrock’ comes from the Irish name “seamrog”, meaning little clover. The shamrock plant is also recognised the world over as the badge of Ireland. It has been a symbol of Ireland since the 18th century.

The shamrock’s most direct link to the Irish people comes in the form of the legend of Saint Patrick bringing Christianity to Ireland. So according to legend, Saint Patrick explained the Christian Holy Trinity to the people of Ireland using the three leaves of the shamrock as a metaphor.

Every year on St Patrick’s Day the Shamrock is worn across the world as a mark of Irish heritage.

Dainty and delicate, this pendant is a modern take on a traditional Celtic jewelry. Pair this Trinity Knot & Shamrock Pendant with some Claddagh earrings for the perfect finish. This pendant is a lovely gift idea for a good friend or family member.
