Created especially to fit our Celtic Disc pendant this sterling silver piece is all about the Irish Claddagh.
Legend has it that the Claddagh symbol was originated by Richard Joyce, a Galway seafarer kidnapped by pirates and sold into slavery in North Africa where he learned the art of a goldsmith.
When he was released, nothing could keep him from his beloved Galway where he returned to become a master goldsmith and where he created the Claddagh ring.
This traditional Claddagh with its symbols of Love, Loyalty and friendship hangs beautifully from the center of the disc and is surrounded with Celtic Knotwork design.
The heart is decorated clear cz stones. There is a choice of eight different disc patterns for your interchangeable pendant – collect them all!
