Our Promise

A Lifetime Guarantee.

We’re very proud of our craftsmanship and stand over all of our products by offering our customers a Lifetime Guarantee.

If you believe your Boru Jewelry ® has a manufacturing defect you may return it to us for inspection. If we determine that your piece is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will either repair or replace it. If the piece is no longer available, we may replace it with a similar item.

If the inspection shows that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will let you know and we’ll advise you if repair services are available.

Of course, slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship are normal and natural characteristics in colored gemstones are unique and individual to each piece. These features are part of the character of each individual item and should not be considered a defect.

Shipping costs to return your item to us for inspection are your responsibility, however if we find that the item has a manufacturing defect, we will of course cover the return costs of shipping the repair or replacement back to you. If we find that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, then you will be responsible for all shipping costs.

Complimentary Cleaning and Inspection Services
We recommend having your merchandise cleaned every 12 months or sooner, especially if it is a gemstone or diamond piece. Inspections may help prevent the loss of a stone and extend the life of your jewelry. This cleaning and inspection is free of charge for Boru ® pieces. You, the customer, only pay for shipping and we will pay for return shipping. Repairs to your ring mount can also be done at this time at an additional cost.

Conditions and Exclusions
Please note that the Manufacturer Warranty and Complimentary Services are available only to the person who purchased the covered product from Boru®. Maintenance, repair, sizing or other services performed by someone other than Boru Jewelry ® will void your Manufacturer Warranty.

Fine jewelry is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for rings as hands are regularly subjected to considerable abuse. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain the repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered.

Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

  • Discoloration due to (but not limited to) exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing and perfumes, to name but a few.
  • Normal wear or tear that requires ‘building up’ or restoration work – this is because prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time.
  • Bent, caught or worn out prongs allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
  • Lost stones or a stone that has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.
