The Claddagh Ring dates to the 17th century and originated in the little fishing village of Claddagh in County Galway, Ireland. The name Claddagh comes from the Irish “Cladach” or “the shore”. The Claddagh is also a traditional Irish ring exchanged as a token of love.

The Claddagh symbol consists of three different elements intertwined to form one of the most heart-warming and beautiful symbols in Irish culture. Combining a heart balancing a crown on its top and held aloft by a pair of outreached hands. Therefore, the Claddagh symbolizes love, loyalty, and friendship.

This simple Baby Claddagh Ring is a real keepsake gift for a newborn or for a Christening. It will delight as a unique communion or confirmation gift. It also comes in a lovely presentation box with story card.

The ring starts at size 1 and runs to size 6 making it a perfect Claddagh ring to wear on an adult little finger too!
