Celtic knots are also engraved on Celtic crosses and Celtic Stones all around Ireland. These still stand thousands of years later. They also elevate stunning ancient treasures like the Ardagh Chalice. Celtic knots are most known for their use in the decoration of Christian monuments and manuscripts, such as the Book of Kells. This was created c.800 and housed at Trinity College Dublin. The Book of Kells is one of the world’s most famous medieval manuscripts. This is because of its extravagant and complex decoration.

Most are endless knots, and many are varieties of basket weave knots. There are many meanings attributed to the infinity Celtic knot. Continuity, the intertwining of wisdom and compassion, and also the joining together of two people forever.

This is an Irish made engagement ring. This wedding band is available in both yellow and white gold. It is also handmade and finished to the highest standards by our goldsmiths in Dublin. It is then assayed at Dublin Castle, to guarantee your quality.
