Inspired by the Ardagh Chalice which is currently housed in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin. Discovered accidentally in Lough Gur, Co Limerick in 1868 by two farmers digging potatoes.
The original filigree work on the Ardagh Chalice features shield decorations and this design forms the basis which we have used in our Celtic Warrior® Collection.
