Pick Up Service or Personal Delivery 

If you’re a retail customer and you wish to pick up your order from us, instead of having it delivered, we would be happy to arrange this with you. Or if you’re holidaying in Dublin and would like us to personally deliver your order to your hotel, we can arrange this also.

Please note that personal deliveries are limited to gold orders and to the Dublin region only.

Free Shipping

When you purchase an item from Boru ®, it’s our pleasure to ship it to you for free. We offer fast and free shipping and insurance to all shipping destinations, regardless of the amount of the order. So you can relax knowing that your items are securely packaged and fully insured while in transit to your home or office.

Please note that the handling of import duties and taxes varies from location to location – location-specific information can be found below.

Lead Time

Lead time can vary depending on the product(s) ordered. For example, most of our silver products are in stock and will be shipped within two business days. Other products can take up to ten business days to ship, for example pieces that are not pre-made and pieces that require customization. Most wedding bands and engagement rings have to be crafted and will take up to ten business days as a result.

Please note that all shipping times listed below are in transit times only, and do NOT include any of the lead manufacturing times outlined above. If you’re concerned about the expected arrival date or you need a rush order, please don’t hesitate to contact us at customerservice@borujewelry.com.

Shipping Methods & Import Duties/Taxes:

USA:

Orders greater than US$500 in value are shipped via FedEx International Priority (1-2 working day delivery after goods leave us).

Orders less than US$500 in value are shipped via FedEx Economy (3-5 working day delivery after goods leave us).

Boru ® covers ALL Import Duties and Taxes into the USA. Therefore, the price quoted on our website is the full and final price; there are no additional charges.

CANADA:

Orders greater than €500 in value are shipped via FedEx International Priority (1-2 working day delivery after goods leave us).

Orders less than €500 in value are shipped via FedEx Economy (3-5 working day delivery after goods leave us).

Unfortunately, if you live in Canada you will have to pay Import Duties & Taxes. This is charged when the package arrives in Canada and it’s payable by you then. It is approximately 17%, however, for exact information on the charges please contact your local FedEx Office.

EUROPE A (Countries included: UK, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Monaco, Italy):

Orders over €500 in value are shipped via FedEx International Priority.

Orders under €500 in value are shipped via FedEx Economy.

If you live in the EU, the price you pay already includes taxes and you will not be liable for any further charges. 

 

EUROPE B (All European countries not included in Zone A):

Orders over €500 in value are shipped via FedEx International Priority.

Orders under €500 in value are shipped via FedEx Economy.

If you live in the EU, the price you pay already includes taxes and you will not be liable for any further charges.

 

IRELAND:

Orders under €100 in value are shipped via Registered Mail.

Orders over €100 in value are shipped via Nightline Courier.

If you live in Ireland, the price you pay already includes taxes and you will not be liable for any further duties.

 

REST OF THE WORLD (Including Australia, New Zealand, Brazil etc.):

All orders are shipped via FedEx Economy, regardless of the order value.

Shipping can be upgraded to FedEx Priority for an additional cost of €50.

Customers in the ‘Rest of the World’ category will be responsible for any duties, VAT, taxes or surcharges levied or charged by their country. Please check with local authorities prior to placing your order to confirm any applicable taxes and duties.

For your protection, Boru ® always:

  • Insures and registers all items for their full value.
  • Uses only FedEx services for all international orders, to ensure that we deliver high value packages in the fastest and safest manner.
  • Requires that all deliveries are made to a physical business or home address.
  • Does not allow delivery to PO Box addresses.
  • Requires a signature for all packages.
  • Allows for an alternative shipping address e.g. work address.

We recommend that credit card orders are shipped to a valid address on file with your credit card company, however we will accept alternative addresses as long as our security requirements are met. We can also arrange to have your package shipped to a local FedEx station for pick-up. You may call our offices at any time for assistance in locating your nearest FedEx facility.

60-Day Return Policy

We believe in our products and we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for some reason you’re not wholly satisfied, you may return your purchase in its original, unworn condition within 60 days, and you’ll receive a full refund or exchange, with no questions asked. However, please note that the return shipping charge is your responsibility.

To avoid any issues with Customs, please follow the instructions below to return your item(s):

  1. Contact us via customerservice@borujewelry.com.
  2. Advise the representative that you wish to return your order.
  3. Within one business day of receipt of your email, we will email you exact Instructions on how your purchase should be returned. Please note that you are responsible for any return shipping charges.
  4. All refunds will be processed within ONE week of receipt of the return, in the form of the original purchase method.

Additional Terms & Conditions

Special orders, Custom Sizes Engraved items or Custom Designs are not returnable or exchangeable.

Items sent to our office without a RAN number, packages shipped beyond the 60-day return period, or packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will not be accepted.

Returned merchandise must be undamaged and in “new and unused condition” to be deemed acceptable for refund or exchange. Items showing obvious signs of wear or alteration by a jeweler other than Boru ® will not be accepted.

Engagement Rings must also be accompanied by the original laboratory grading report, or a US $200/€200 charge will be assessed to replace the certificate.

We cannot resize certain rings including some stone set rings, our Faith Range of Wedding Bands and our Signature Range of Wedding Bands as they need to be completely re-crafted. Therefore, it is very important that you order the correct size at the time of purchase.
