The Trinity Heart Pendant is a popular product at Boru. This beautiful open heart shaped pendant is set with clear cubic zirconia stones, adding a bit of sparkle to your life. In the centre of this pendent is the iconic Trinity knot.
This beautiful Trinity Heart Pendant is inspired from our stunning manuscripts such as The Book of Kells and also our Celtic crosses and Celtic stones all around Ireland. The legendary Book of Kells, believed to be from the early 9th century, displays the Trinity knot symbol among its other decorative artwork.
The Trinity Knot also presents a resemblance to the Valknut which is a symbol associated with Odin. Odin was an admired God in Norse mythology.
The Celtic knot or “Triquetra” is by far one of the most popular Celtic symbols nowadays. In the Christian faith, the three points of the Trinity knot represent the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
Celts believed that the most important things in life come in threes. For example, the three domains (land, sky and sea), the three elements (earth, water and fire) etc. Celts also believed that each point of the trinity knot symbolises one part of each of these important trios.
