Celtic knots come in a variety of designs and were used for decoration in the insular art of the period. They are most well known for their use in the ornamentation of Christian monuments and manuscripts such as the 8th-century Book of Kells.
Although no one is certain, Celtic knotwork is believed to be symbolic of the never ending life cycle, the constancy of love and the constant changing of the seasons in nature.
This traditional hinged bangle with safety chain has been worked in sterling silver. The continuous knotwork rope pattern goes all the way around this bangle and although taken from an ancient design it has a very contemporary look.
It is available in sterling silver and in 10K & 14& white or yellow gold.
