This is our Celtic Disc holder pendant and chain with Shamrock and Hearts. The pendant is in sterling silver and encrusted with clear cz stones to enhance your chosen Celtic disc. Changing a disc couldn't be simpler. Once the chain is removed from the pendant the disc opens in two allowing you to remove one disc and replace with another. Close it and pop the chain back on to secure the disc in the pendant. this sterling silver piece creates a perfect Shamrock pendant. The name 'shamrock' comes from the Irish name "seamrog" or little clover. The "dear little shamrock" has been a symbol of Ireland since the 18th century and a registered trade mark by the government of Ireland. Used as a symbol of Christianity in Ireland, Saint Patrick, Ireland's patron saint used it as a metaphor for the Christian Holy Trinity. It is beloved across the world as a mark of Irish heritage and is worn by millions on March 17th. St. Patrick's Day!
